Private Yoga sessions are available for anyone who would like exclusive attention. Some people feel more comfortable taking a private session before entering a class. Others may have a specific area of concern in their body that they would like to address. Some just want ideas for ways to relax and become more centered, grounded and present. Private sessions are for YOU! They can be whatever you want them to be. I bring hundreds of hours of training and thousands of hours of teaching experience to my private sessions. Let me help you get the most from your practice based on your specific needs and concerns.
ThaiYoga is a Yoga Therapy modality based on the Northern style of traditional Thai Bodywork which has evolved over many centuries in Thailand. This private session integrates therapeutic stretching, alignment principles, range-of-motion exercises, joint mobilization, assisted Hatha yoga postures, energy movement and balancing techniques and breathing.
ThaiYoga presents many benefits: the joints open, muscles and connective tissue stretch, internal organs tone, and vital energy is increased. This results in a deep state of relaxation, rejuvenation, and well-being.
Practitioners of ThaiYoga should always dress comfortably (e.g. sweatpants, loose fittings shirts, yoga attire). The entire session is conducted on the floor on a futon mat. All sessions are private.
