Retreat to the Beautiful Connecticut Shore

at the beautiful Stonecroft Inn, Ledyard, CT 

Let’s take some time to reconnect together as the busyness of Summer fades away and the vibrant abundance of Autumn begins. The beautiful Stonecroft Inn (built 1807) allows us space both inside and out to drink in the gifts of Autumn. There will be time for yoga, hiking, exploring the quaint nearby towns, or just quiet, personal reflection. We will start on Friday evening with an Opening/Welcoming Mocktail Party followed by a Sound Bath featuring our hand-hammered, 36″ Divine Feminine Gong. From there our weekend unfolds with yoga, amazing food, outdoor time in nature, journaling, and free time to explore surrounding areas like beautiful Mystic, Stonington, or even Westerly, RI. A partial list of options includes the Mystic Museum of Art, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, the Stonington Lighthouse Museum, the Stonington Farmer’s Market, Clyde’s Cider Mill, or just some shopping and enjoying ice cream next to the historic Bascule Bridge in Mystic! Dinner is on your own on Saturday, and there are dozens of choices! We’ll drop into some deep relaxation with a wind-down Yin Yoga class that evening. On Sunday, we will enjoy yoga and breakfast together before departing. Of course, once you have checked out of the Inn, you will still have the afternoon on Sunday for exploration as well.

About the Rooms:

There are 10 rooms at the Inn, and every room has one bed. You may secure a private room or bring a friend to share the room (and bed). All rooms have private baths.
 

Your retreat includes:

  • Two nights lodging at the historic Stonecroft Inn in Ledyard, CT, including 15% CT Sales Tax
  • Mocktail Party on your arrival Friday evening
  • Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch on Saturday
  • Coffee and Tea available 24/7
  • 3 Yoga Classes  and a Yoga Nidra session
  • Sound Bath With Divine Feminine Gong
  • Hike at beautiful Barn Island or the beach, weather permitting
  • Journaling Materials

    (Note: You may check-in anytime after 3 p.m. on Friday, but dinner is not included on Friday. Our retreat officially begins at 7 p.m. Friday. Check-out is by 11 a.m. Sunday. Our first gathering will be at 7 p.m. on Friday. Please let me know about food allergies or any medical issues I should be aware of.)

Many optional activities in the area (Many are free, and more info. will be available for anyone interested in exploring.)

About the Inn and Rooms from the owners: 

The 1807 House of our Mystic, CT lodging in Ledyard has four common rooms, six fireplaces, and four exceptional guest rooms with wide plank floors, original historic features, and private baths. TVs are currently not offered at the 1807 house, however we have a TV in our common area. These elegant rooms are perfect if you’re looking for romantic places to stay in Mystic, CT. Coffee and tea are always available in the common room.

The Yellow Barn (previously called the Grange) is an 8,000-square-foot converted post and beam barn sitting atop the massive granite fieldstone foundation. Public areas include sitting areas, our dining room, and the outdoor terrace with gardens, pond, and a waterfall. All of our Mystic, CT lodging suites in the Yellow Barn suites are air-conditioned and have widescreen TV/DVDs, free Wi-Fi, and deck access overlooking the gardens.  Each suite also features a whirlpool tub, heated towel rack, separate shower, and in-room coffee maker. The Yellow Barn is the accommodation for you if you’re looking for romantic places to stay in Mystic, CT, with comfortable furnishings and amenities.  We do not have an elevator to preserve our historic property.

Pricing for the Weekend:

Yellow Barn Rooms for the weekend including a two-night stay, all amenities, yoga, and everything listed above—

Queen Bed—Private $785; Share your room with a friend $480 per person (4 rooms available)

King Bed—Private $945; Share your room with a friend $560 per person (2 rooms available)

1807 House Rooms for the weekend including a two-night stay, all amenities, yoga, and everything listed above—

Queen Bed—Private $685; Share your room with a friend $435 per person (2 rooms available)

King Bed—Private $725; Share your room with a friend $450 per person (2 rooms available)

Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All prices include a 15% CT Tax.

A deposit of $100 will hold your place.
$150 due by August 1.
The remainder is due by September 10.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel more than 14 days before the retreat, I will refund your money less a $50 processing fee owed to the hotel.

If you must cancel within two weeks of the retreat, I will refund what you have paid me minus the $50 processing fee if I can fill your place. If your reserved place is not filled, you will forfeit the lodging portion of your payment which includes the processing fee.
