Welcome!

All of my yoga classes are live and online via ZOOM to allow us time to connect, stretch and BREATHE! These classes are for anyone, and they are DWW (Donate What you Wish). I am using the Zoom Meeting Platform. You will need to download the FREE Zoom App in order to participate.

All of my classes are suitable for everyone. I can provide chair modifications if you need to be sitting in a chair. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged!

Mondays, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.–Gentle

Thursdays, 10-11 a.m.–Gentle

Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.–Yoga for Every Body (slightly more challenging than Gentle, but still accessible to all!)

Restorative/Yoga Nidra on Zoom
Friday, May 24
7-8:30 p.m.

Imagine a relaxation session that can help you sleep better, rejuvenate your nervous system and bring deep relaxation to all the layers (koshas) of your being, not just your physical body. We will begin this practice with a Restorative Yoga session where postures will be held for 5-7 minutes then move to Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra or “Yogic Sleep” is a combination of relaxation, affirmation, respiration and visualization techniques that are used together to create deep relaxation. This multidimensional approach to relaxation facilitates deep integration of mind, body and spirit. Anyone can do this! You don’t need to have any yoga experience. Your fitness level doesn’t matter either. Come as you are! Please dress comfortably and warmly in layers, as you will be lying in Savasana (Relaxation Pose) for an extended period of time. Make sure you have lots of props to help you stay comfortable and warm.

Though meeting on Zoom is convenient for many of us, getting together with an in-person class every now and then is a great way to connect to each other in community. This class will calm, relax, and rejuvenate our bodies, minds, and spirits just in time for the busy season of Spring! We will start with breathing and move into a Gentle Asana Practice which will include one or two or three longer-held restorative poses. This will be a gentle to moderate class that anyone can access. I will use props and lots of accommodations for those with particular physical concerns.
